Gay Will Not Stop with Chick-Fil-A

The news over the last few weeks has been disturbing to say the least.  An obviously deranged individual full of evil opens fire on innocent people in a movie theater.  His demeanor as he appears in court is sinister, leaving us all wondering how a human could become what this man has become?
Because of their cover up of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, the Penn State football program receives the “near death” penalty.  Any pundit who dares to insinuate that the penalty may have been too harsh or that the NCAA overstepped their bounds is reminded that the fate of Penn State pales in comparison to how Sandusky victimized those boys.
Then there is the gays and Chick-Fil-A.  Somehow in an intensely heavy news week that features everything from mass killing, to collegiate scandal, to the Olympic Games, there is still time to cover what’s happening at a chicken joint.  Why?  Because Chick-Fil-A hates gays, or at least that’s how the story has been sold.  For weeks this campaign of rhetoric has been gaining ground on Facebook, blog sites, and other internet outlets, “Chick-Fil-A hates gays.”  Now the news is national.  Christians are planning a Chick-Fil-A/Mike Huckabee “eat in” on August 1.  Gays are planning a “kiss in” on August 3.  Be careful which day you plan to take the family out for chicken next week.  You will not only be choosing a side of delicious waffle fries, depending on which day you go, you may also be choosing teams.
Somewhere between the chaos and the killing every news item becomes a political platform.  In Colorado the dead were yet to be buried before the gun control debate ensued.  There is no time to mourn, it is time to vote!  Yet, in the gay vs. Chick-Fil-A mania there is an underlying story here that is being categorically ignored.  What about intellectual honesty?  What about religious liberty?  What about the right to choose to openly express one’s lifestyle preferences?  What about bullying?
With Chick-Fil-A the gay lobby has exposed itself for what it is.  It is an intellectually dishonest, bully group, that seeks to ultimately rape America of its religious liberties and right to free speech.  Intellectually dishonest?  Chick-Fil-A never said they, “Hate gays.”  Chick-Fil-A only affirmed that they hold to marriage as a covenant bond between male and female.  Is affirming heterosexual marriage now a hate crime?  So now we can have a gay bar or a gay strip joint on Main Street but its immoral to have a chicken stand that affirms Christian marriage?  Gays have long demonstrated that if they don’t get their way they are not above misrepresenting their opponents as hate mongers and bullying their way into obtaining what they want.  The voters in California resoundingly voted down Proposition 8 that would have affirmed gay marriage.  In reaction gays stormed the streets of California’s cities kissing, conducting wedding ceremonies, and leveling filth ridden, hate filled rhetoric at their opponents.  The gay agenda has always been, if you don’t agree with us, we will smack you in the face with who we are.  Come eat chicken on August 3, watch us kiss!
There is another thread in the gay agenda that is being ignored by the news making the reaction to the Sandusky scandal blatantly hypocritical.  What Jerry Sandusky did and what his university did to cover it up was immoral, filth ridden, and destructive.  Sandusky and Penn State deserve worse than what they got.  Yet in a week in which gays are attacking Chick-Fil-A, have you heard them attack Jerry Sandusky or Penn State?  Silence.
If the gay agenda gets its way where will it end?  I do not know where it will end, but I can tell you where it is going.  Gay has made itself into America’s mainstream.  What was once thought of as absolutely immoral and abnormal behavior is now considered a lifestyle.  The route to this end was simple.  Psychologists, physicians, and biologists - the “medical” community is pressured to deem abnormal as normal.  They write papers for years in journals that the “intellects” read.  The debate ensues in the university.  Here the debate moves from biology to ethics.  Is a moral position an absolute or merely a cultural construct, a relative position rather than an absolute one?  Because Americans have short attention spans, read very little, and are insatiably image driven, the next venue for acceptance is art and entertainment.  If Americans can see enough of it they will be desensitized to it.  They may scorn it at first, but in time they will laugh it off.  Comedians and sit-coms offer gay characters and gay jokes.  We laugh.  Gay is American mainstream.  Gay is now free to bully its way into Chick-Fil-A and no one cries “foul!”
Pedophilia is not mainstream, but it is coming.  Currently pedophilia is at the point of papers.  Numerous conferences and scientific papers are being offered that would change sex between adults and children from something as filthy as Sandusky to something as American as fried chicken.  Simply Google “legalize pedophilia” and prepare to be amazed at what is not on Good Morning America - yet!  One example I would offer is an article posted by NARTH in reaction to articles published by the American Psychological Association suggesting that sex between men and boys is not as detrimental to minors as we previously thought.  An excerpt reads,
"Harris Mirkin recently wrote a lead article in the Journal of Homosexuality entitled "The Pattern of Sexual Politics: Feminism, Homosexuality and Pedophilia." Using social-constructionist theory, he argues that the concept of child molestation is a "culture- and class-specific creation" which can and should be changed."
"He likens the battle for the legalization of pedophilia to the battles for women's rights, homosexual rights, and even the civil rights of blacks."
"He sees the hoped-for shift as taking place in two stages. During the first stage, the opponents of pedophilia control the debate by insisting that the issue is non-negotiable--while using psychological and moral categories to silence all discussion."
But in the second stage, Mirkin says, the discussion must move on to such issues as the "right" of children to have and enjoy sex."
The article goes on to trace the path toward cultural moral shift.  Morals are represented as merely social-cultural constructs.  What was once an absolute immoral position is changed to a relative moral position.  What was once immoral then becomes a cultural norm.
The gay agenda will not stop with Chick-Fil-A.  Biblically, the examples of cultures that are accepting of homosexuality always find themselves buckling at the door as gays always want more.  They have no qualms about it and will intrude upon the family (Gen. 12:12, Judges 19:23-25).  Once the image of the traditional family is irreparably blurred, the family will give “gay” almost anything - even their children.  Read the Bible!
The gay assault on Chick-Fil-A has nothing to do with hate or chicken.  It is merely another example of the gay assault on family and culture.  Gay will not stop with Chick-Fil-A.  Given their way, the gay agenda will make a pedophile like Jerry Sandusky nothing more than the boy next door.
