Brian Branam: Pastor, Author, Teacher

If you could summarize your purpose with two words, a verb and a noun, what would it be? For me, those two words are CREATE CONTENT. I am a pastor, teacher, and author who creates content to help you think Biblically.

I’ve had the privilege of sitting under some incredible Christian scholars and pastors, but the greatest theologian I ever knew was my grandmother, Lou Truelove. She had a 5th grade education. She taught herself to read by using the Bible. She was married at 15 and birthed 10 children; five boys, five girls. My father was the youngest of the 10.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are sitting on her front porch as she shucked corn or broke beans. I listened to her tell the stories of her week and what the Lord had done for her. She lived the Bible. She connected Bible verses to circumstances. She could show you the sovereign hand of God writing her story.

I believe God used her prayers and her example to shape within me a passion to help people understand the Bible in the places where Heaven and earth intersect in everyday life.

God showed Jacob a ladder in the wilderness on which angels ascended and descended between heaven and earth. When Jesus taught His apostles to pray, he asked God that, “your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).” In Revelation 21 God gives John a future vision of a new heaven and a new earth in which the crown jewel is a new Jerusalem that comes to earth from heaven.

It is God’s desire that your life be that intersection for His Kingdom on earth now. Heaven and earth constantly collide all around us. But if we are Biblically illiterate we will remain wholly ignorant of the world as it really is.

If you can understand the Bible. You can understand the world and make better decisions.

My wife's name is Shannon ('97). We have two daughters Morgan Hawkins (Kameron '20) and Kiley.

Below is a listing of my ministry experience. If I can serve you in any way by bringing Christian content into your life or to your group, please let me know. Thanks for visiting BrianBranam.com, I pray it will be a blessing and a resource for you.
