I espe...I have loved reading your posts this week. I especially appreciated your post today which "brings it home" to where we live. I have seen these trends in our thirty-somethings right here in Birmingham for quite a while. We have a huge mission field here and our tendency is to continue with the rituals (which is very good) without following through with the ministry because we are either too busy or afraid we don't know all the answer or are not sure our love for others will be well received. Whatever our reasons, when we look to the life of Chirst for our example, he not only made it his custom to go to synagogue, but he touched people who needed him as he went his way thoughout the week....often people who would not have normally sought him out.
